As of 6 am EST, market not showing anything interesting yet on 35K of volume. Better than last week at least. Economic calendar showing two events today at 8:15 and 8:30 EST.
Currently, NQ testing some resistance at 6967.5. I will just be waiting and watching for a good setup while working on some other business on the side until the bell.
At the Bell
Another very slow and dull premarket. Didn’t take any plays, paper trade or live. As expected the calendar events had minimal to no effect on the market.
And the snooze fest continued through the first ten minutes of the market. Guess summer vacation started early or graduation ceremonies and celebrations…

What a long day of slow nothingness. Didn’t see any good setups until after 11:00 EST which resulted in the profit stated above. On a bright note, the studying and work I did over the weekend helped me avoid what could have been a couple losses today and a lot of unnecessary stress.
