Nov 15, 2018 – Battle Hours

Premarket Insight

With the retail sales for Economic Outlook, Walmart (WMT) gets the spotlight for retail earnings today before the open, accompanied by tech stock Nvidia (NVDA) after the close. Nasdaq futures retracing about 50% of yesterday’s selloff, showing strong support at 6760. Look for a retest before the main drop if we break that area bearish on continued selloff. Keeping an opened mind, we could easily trade in either direction from here.

Premarket volume check showing moderate strength as volume has shifted from CL. Futures contracts NQZ18 and 6EZ18 above the 100k volume mark before 08:00 EST.   Crude oil, Gold, and Euro Fx futures trading sideways with 6E trading in a wide range of about 160 ticks.

Stay calm, plan the trade, and trade the plan.

COB Recap

Total profit $120 – all TST.

Nov 14, 2018 – Triple Green

Premarket Insight

Another Fed day with Chair Powell speaking after the closing bell. Additionally, more earnings reports get the spotlight today, such as Macy’s (M) and Cisco (CSCO). So far Nasdaq futures are retracing the selloff that continued through the Asian market hours. Along with Fed news, Economic Outlook has CPI and Crude Oil inventories scheduled for today.

Premarket volume check showing moderate strength with CLZ18 well above the 100k of volume mark. CL, GC, and 6E pretty much trading sideways. CL starting to break bullish while Euro Fx slightly trading bearish, showing support in a key zone of 1.12915 and 1.12815.

Stay calm, plan the trade, and trade the plan.

COB Recap

Finally took some trades. Total profit $100 all in TST.

Nov 13, 2018 – Flat Streak

Premarket Insight

So far Nasdaq futures holding strong over yesterday’s low after taking a very brief dip below in the Asian market hours. As of this writing, the bulls are slowly marching higher, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see the low revisited at some point today. Nothing significant scheduled for Economic Outlook today, however earnings reports could make things interesting. Home Depot (HD) in the spotlight today, accompanied by some weed stocks, such as Tilray (TLRY) and Cronos Group (CRON).

Premarket volume check showing relatively strong activity with NQZ18, CLZ18, GCZ18, and 6EZ18 all above the 100k mark. After the selloff continuation yesterday, CL so far taking some rest leading up to the bell. GC also trading mostly sideways after a brief European session dip, while 6E begins to climb higher in the premarket.

Stay calm, plan the trade, and trade the plan.

COB Recap

Another day of no trades in this choppy morning session. (sigh)
